Collection of Your Information

We strive to maintain the reliability, accuracy, completeness and currency of your information in our databases.  To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, maintain data accuracy and facilitate the appropriate use of information, DEMTROYS (or its 3^rd party providers) may use physical, technological and/or administrative procedures to protect the personal information that DEMTROYS collects from loss, unauthorised access, modification, disclosure or other misuse. Your information is kept on our servers or the servers of our 3rd party service provider (“Provider”).  We or our Provider will use industry standard measures to prevent unauthorized disclosure, illegal use or loss of your information.  Consequently, we cannot be held responsible in case such situations occur.

Security

We take reasonable security measures to help protect against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, and unauthorized disclosure or alteration of the information under our control. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of any account you might have with us has been compromised), please immediately notify us of the problem by contacting us at the address provided below.

Disclosure of Your Information

DEMTROYS may disclose your personal information to its subsidiaries or affiliates and to third parties whom DEMTROYS contracts to provide services on DEMTROYS’ behalf, including, but not limited to, support services and website services.  DEMTROYS may also disclose in order to deliver promotional materials and answer customer questions about DEMTROYS’ products and services. These subsidiaries, affiliates and third parties may be located in Canada, the US or overseas. DEMTROYS will only provide those third parties with the personal information that they need to deliver the services to DEMTROYS and/or on DEMTROYS’s behalf. You consent to DEMTROYS disclosing your personal information to our legal advisors when reasonably required or as otherwise permitted or required by law.

Retention of Your Personal information

The personal information that you provide will be retained by DEMTROYS in accordance with applicable laws. However, DEMTROYS may in the course of its business destroy information it deems to be stale or obsolete and will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify personal information it holds if it is no longer needed for DEMTROYS business purposes.

Choice and Opt-Out Preferences

DEMTROYS does not collect your personal information unless you choose to provide it. If, at any time, you prefer not to receive further email communications from DEMTROYS (except in connection with information, products or services that you specifically request), you will have the ability to unsubscribe from such communications by means of a link provided in every broadcast e-mail that is sent to you by DEMTROYS.

Access and Correction

DEMTROYS will take reasonable steps to ensure the personal information it holds is accurate, complete and up to date. Upon your written request and provided your identity can be verified, subject to certain exceptions, DEMTROYS will inform you of storage and disclosure of your personal information and give you access to that information. Additionally, if you have any questions or enquiries relating to our privacy practices or procedures, or if you believe that the personal information that DEMTROYS holds about you is not accurate, complete or up to date you may write to us at the address provided below. If you are able to establish that the information is not accurate, complete or up to date, we will take reasonable steps to correct the information.

Governing Law and Assignment

This agreement will be governed by and construed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada and the parties hereby irrevocably submit and attorn to the jurisdiction of the Courts of the district of Saint-François (Sherbrooke), Province of Quebec.

We may transfer information to an affiliate, a subsidiary, or a third party in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer, or other disposition of all or any portion of DEMTROYS’ business, assets, or stock, including, without limitation, in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceeding.  We may also transfer information to local authorities in the event of an emergency or event that DEMTROYS, in its reasonable judgement, deems to be of an urgent or emergency nature.
